Diego Simeone: ‘Manchester United could complete transfer of Atletico Madrid’s Mario Mandzukic’
Diego Simeone has claimed that Atletico Madrid would not stand in the way of Mario Mandzukic completing a transfer to Manchester United.
The Atletico Madrid boss believes there are only two players that the club would not sell.
‘Mandzukic? Who goes and who stays is not up to me,’ Simeone said.
‘The club will decide what is best. We are happy with Mandzukic, he had a very competitive campaign.
Of course, at Atletico there are a few players who can be considered untouchable: Koke, Godin and that’s about it, I’d say.’
United have been linked with a £36 million move.
